Pope Francis warned again this Thursday (24) of a “third world war” and launched an appeal for the situation to be reversed in this “dark scenario”, placing trust as the basis of relationships between people.
In a message to the Festival of Social Doctrine, in Verona, the Argentine recalled the “many conflicts taking place all over the world” and underlined that “we are in the third world war”.
“We are living in a time of great conflict which seems to deny that attitude of trust towards others, supported by a feeling of security and tranquillity”, the Pontiff underlined.
Jorge Bergoglio recalled the poverty deriving from the offensives, the suffering, the innocent victims, the future denied to children, “a gloomy scenario”, which requires decisive intervention with a repair work.
Finally, the head of the Catholic Church has once again launched an appeal for “a concrete commitment: to be reliable craftsmen”. 🇧🇷
