Turkey and Cuba signed six cooperation agreements in several areas, including media, central banks and diplomatic archives.

The signing took place in the presence of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his Cuban counterpart, Miguel Mario Diaz, at the Presidential Complex in the capital Ankara, on the sidelines of a meeting held by them and other delegations.

The agreements included a cooperation protocol between the Turkish Radio and Television Company TRT and the Cuban Radio and Television Institute, a cooperation agreement between the Central Bank of Turkey and its Cuban counterpart, in addition to a cooperation protocol between the Presidency of Turkish Archives and the National Archives. of Cuba.

The parties signed a memorandum of understanding between the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency TIKA and the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of diplomatic archives and a second memorandum of understanding on diplomatic qualifications.
