Azerbaijani forces arrested 2 Armenian saboteurs who were trying to cross the border in the direction of Zangilani.
Azerbaijani authorities said on Friday that a group of saboteurs from the Armenian armed forces were destroyed by Azerbaijani border guards as they tried to cross the border in the direction of Zangilani.
It was noted that two servicemen in the group of Armenian saboteurs were arrested by the Azerbaijani border guards, while the rest of the group escaped.
On September 27, 2020, the Azerbaijani army launched an operation to liberate the occupied lands in the Karabakh region.
After fierce fighting that lasted for 44 days, on November 10, 2020, Azerbaijan and Armenia reached a cease-fire agreement that provided for Baku to regain control over the occupied provinces.
