Santos reappeared this Tuesday, at CT Rei Pelé, and began preparations for the match against Fluminense, for the 17th round of the Brasileirão. Coach Paulo Turra could be missing a lot for the match.
Goalkeeper João Paulo was injured in the 16th minute of the second phase, in the draw against Botafogo. Treating a hip inflammation, the captain is in doubt about taking the tricolor.
Turra, on the other hand, could have something new for the match: the forward Julio Furch. The newcomer has participated in the activity again and can make his debut against Fluminense, if he appears on time in the CBF’s daily newsletter (BID).
The Santos team will continue with preparations for the duel for the Brazilian championship this Wednesday. The clash is scheduled for 16:00 (Brasilia time), at the Maracanã.
At the moment, Peixe is in 14th place, with 16 points. Turra’s commanders have three points more than Goiás, which opens the relegation zone.
