All because of contract games
The RFU Ethics Committee at a meeting held on May 26 made its decision regarding the players Ziyadkhan Mammadov (Essentuki) and Denis Derkunsky (SKA-Khabarovsk-2).
Both athletes are prohibited from engaging in football-related activities. The ban is for life. This was reported on the official RFU website.
The sports director of “La Mouette” Denis Tumasyan was also sanctioned. He will pay a fine of 50,000 rubles, and Tumasyan also received a disqualification suspended for six months.
Earlier, the players had already been sanctioned by the Control and Disciplinary Commission (CDC) of the RFU, but then Essentuki player Josi Dzaurov, the leader of the same team Yusup Magomedov and the representative of the second Khabarovsk team SKA Ruslan Pidlisnyak was also on the list.
All of them were found guilty of organizing a second division match between the Salyut Belgorod and SKA-Khabarovsk-2 teams. The meeting took place in October 2022.
