This Saturday (27), Flamengo and Cruzeiro will face each other in a match valid for the eighth day of the Brazilian championship. This Friday (26), Rubro-Negro had his last training before the match, and the activity had a novelty: the presence of Giorgian de Arrascaeta, who went onto the field and worked with the rest of the team in a part of the activity.
Arrascaeta has missed Flamengo in his last two matches, against Corinthians and Ñublense, with pain in the back of his right thigh. The discomfort occurred in the warm-up for the duel against San Paolo and prevented the midfielder from entering the field. For Libertadores, the number 14 traveled with the delegation, but was vetoed by the medical department due to physical problems.
Another player suspended from the match against Ñublense due to physical problems was Matheus França and, like Arrascaeta, the Ninho boy took to the pitch in some of Friday’s activity. Léo Pereira, who had played against Corinthians, trained normally and is available to Sampaoli. The duo, however, is in doubt for the duel against Cruzeiro.
Bruno Henrique is another athlete who should return to the list of relatives of the Argentine coach. The striker has had his load checked in the last 10 days and is in better physical condition to return to play.
