Ramon Menezes’ side need to win to secure the lead in Group D
Looking for the leadership of Group D, Brazil will face Nigeria this Saturday, at 15:00 (Brasilia time), for the 3rd round of the Under-20 World Cup. Ramon Menezes’ team is close to mathematically conquering a place for the round of 16 of the tournament.
BRAZIL CAMPAIGN
Brazil kicked off the Under-20 World Cup with a defeat by Italy on their debut in the competition, but recovered in the tournament by beating the Dominican Republic 6-0. Marcos Leonardo was one of the great highlights of the selection with three goals scored.
CAMPAIGN IN NIGERIA
On the other hand, Nigeria has a 100% lead after the first two rounds. In their debut, the African team beat the Dominican Republic 2-1 and last Wednesday they defeated the Azzurri 2-0.
