Dutchman Max Verstappen, of Red Bull, was fastest in the second free practice of the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix, clocking 1m12s462 this Friday (26).

The Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz followed, with times of 1m12s527 and 1m12s569 respectively, but the Spaniard abandoned the session before the end due to a collision with the wall.

Practice was interrupted for a few minutes due to the removal of the car and resumed, but without major position changes as there were only about 10 minutes left in the session.

Fourth place for Fernando Alonso, of Aston Martin, followed by Lando Norris (McLaren) and Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes). Red Bull’s Sergio Perez, Alfa Romeo’s Valtteri Bottas and the Alpines of Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon rounded out the fastest top 10. .
