Opera appoints Juliana Psaros as head of LatAm marketing

The executive will help provide insights into the gaming, browsing and Web 3 market in the region

They say the good son keeps the house – and that seems to be true. After nearly 6 years, Juliana Psaros has returned to the Opera to take up the role of Marketing Manager in Latin America. Under the contract, the Norwegian developer of the eponymous web browser gets a local spokesperson in Brazil who will help provide insights into the continent’s gaming, browsing and Web 3 market.

Based in São Paulo, Juliana has over 15 years of experience in marketing, strategy building, collaborating with content creators and business development across Latin America.

The executive acted TelevisionCulture And at the Apex – Cinema do Brasil until joining the team Opera in 2013. There, he assumed the roles of Manager of Content Acquisition and TV Business Development and Senior Manager, Content Acquisition. Since 2017 he has ventured into other companies such as Vewd, Pinterest and Jellysmacka French unicorn landed in Brazil in August last year.

“Coming back to the company and seeing all the expansion and innovation that Opera has done in recent years makes me very excited. Plus our presence in Latin America, which is a strategic market for us,” says Juliana, in a statement.
