Uber has started the process of liquidation of the IT branch in Lithuania

Uber Technologies, registered in the United States of America, has decided to initiate proceedings for the liquidation of the closed joint-stock company Uber Lithuania Software and Development, registered in Vilnius.

This was reported in the Information Publication of the Register of Legal Entities on Wednesday. Sébastien Serge Dupont has been appointed liquidator of the company.

In 2021, Uber Lithuania Software and Development generated 6.37 million euros in revenue, making 234,000 net profits.

According to Sodra, on February 17, the company employed 46 employees, whose average gross salary in December was 7,483.48 euros.

In January, the companies informed the Employment Service of a collective dismissal of 39 employees.

Another company, Uber Lithuania, also operates in Lithuania. Earlier it was reported that Uber will continue to provide passenger transport services in Vilnius.
